CTE

Baboquivari High School is a member public school district of the Pima Joint Technical Education District (Pima JTED). Pima JTED is a public career and technical education (CTE) district that provides CTE programs to approximately 22,000 10th through 12th grade students who are enrolled in public, private, charter, and homeschools.

We are proud to offer five CTE programs:

AgriScience: Prepares students an overview of the fields of agricultural science, animal science, plant science, and soil science; animal husbandry, soil conservation, and agriculture operations such as farming, ranching, agricultural business, and natural resources.

Automotive Technologies: Prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles.

Culinary Arts: Prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills required for food production and service occupations in commercial foodservice establishments.

Digital Communication: Prepares students to gather, process, and deliver news through a variety of print and online formats including newspapers, magazines, journals, annual publications, weblogs (blogs), and other traditional and new media platforms.

Digital Photography: Prepares students to use technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to produce and preserve images that communicate information, convey ideas, moods and feelings, tell a story, or record an event.
